Organise materials, AI capabilities and applications in three layers
Start with one role-specific task and agree material scope, assisted outputs and human review.
Materials and data
Organise policies, manuals, contracts, case files, templates and authorised business data. Confirm sources, quality and access scope.
AI capabilities
Use samples to assess recognition, parsing, retrieval, field extraction, summaries, enquiries and draft generation. Retain sources for checking.
Business applications
Connect role-specific agents, professional tools and workflow workspaces to tasks. Distinguish AI drafts, human revisions and approved outputs, and retain collaboration records.
Identity, permissions, references, process records and human approval span all three layers. Models and environments are assessed per project. Applying legal product methods elsewhere still requires validation against the organisation’s materials and rules.
Fictional material example: link delivery terms to contract page 12, a payment lead to payment record page 27, and a receipt lead to delivery record page 34 to prepare a checklist. These materials and page numbers illustrate referencing only; they are not factual evidence or customer results. Authorised people make professional determinations.
How can legal and judicial tasks be assessed?
Possible starting points include case-file parsing, timelines, fact-to-evidence references, similar-case retrieval and document drafts. Authorised or de-identified samples are needed to check references, missing materials and items requiring verification. AI does not replace the professional judgment of case officers, lawyers or authorised personnel.
Confirm deployment conditions and each party’s responsibilities
For local, internal-network, dedicated-cloud or hybrid deployment, first assess the customer’s existing servers, hardware, network, models and operations.
Customers supply business and acceptance conditions
Define tasks, rules, authorised samples, security requirements and users. Coordinate existing system interfaces and appoint reviewers and acceptance owners.
Assess compute, storage, model licences, parsing components and maintenance before reusing existing servers and hardware. Fully isolated environments also require checks of offline operation and updates.
Shuangyuan builds business applications
Build knowledge bases, role-specific agents, workflow workspaces, permission records and business interfaces, supporting sample validation, data-flow checks and user support.
Partners support the runtime environment
Provide model services, compute equipment, security environments, integration and operations according to project responsibilities. Jointly confirm actual configurations and maintenance duties.
The deployment plan identifies destinations for models, knowledge, files, business data and logs, as well as external calls and maintenance channels. Check and accept these against customer security requirements; private deployment alone does not establish data boundaries.
Functions, interfaces, environments and project scope are assessed first. Fees are discussed separately.
Validate delivery with samples and runtime records
Check business results alongside deployment conditions so the application can enter everyday work.
Agree objectives and boundaries
Document users, material types, permission scope, human approval steps, and security and operational requirements.
Test representative samples
Check parsing, retrieval, references and draft quality, including failures. Agree acceptance samples and evaluation criteria with business users.
Confirm the environment and connections
Agree models, resources, knowledge updates and interface authorisation. Validate the application and component dependencies in the target environment.
Complete acceptance checks and trial operation
Check model calls, file and log destinations, access controls and human approval records. Actual users then run a trial and resolve identified issues.
Prepare for a project assessment
Begin with business and environment conditions. Share sensitive materials only after authorisation and transfer arrangements are confirmed.
What is needed for an initial assessment?
Describe the task, user numbers and roles, existing systems, network conditions and security requirements. Prepare de-identified samples and identify business reviewers to help assess scope and cost.
Can all data be guaranteed to remain on the internal network?
This depends on the selected models, parsing tools, external interfaces and maintenance arrangements. If all processing must remain internal, identify every external dependency and verify configuration, call records and network behaviour. Any stage that cannot meet the requirement needs adjustment before acceptance.
How are security and compliance requirements assessed?
The customer identifies applicable requirements and acceptance reviewers. Shuangyuan helps confirm data scope, permissions, model calls, log retention and operating conditions, and provides agreed validation results. Compliance conclusions depend on the business, environment and relevant professional assessment.
Who maintains the system after launch?
The project scope assigns responsibilities for hardware and model services, application updates, knowledge maintenance, backups, incident handling and change acceptance. New models or external tools require another check of affected data flows.
